The Shibboleth Common Library provides services/infrastructure that is common between Identity and Service providers.

The Shibboleth Java Cryptography Engine plugin is a JCE implementation that delegates trust evaluation to a the application.

The Shibboleth Identity Provider is used by an organization to securely assert information, via SAML, about their users. This information is then read and acted upon by Service Providers.

Various extension tasks for Ant

This extension provides support for custom overrides of the OpenSAML security configuration used within the Shibboleth 2.x IdP.

The Shibboleth Discovery Service is used by a Shibboleth Service Provider to determine the correct Identity Provider for a user. It may be deployed centrally (e.g. at a federation level) or co-located with a Service Provider.
